Wasp Season Is Well and Truly Here!

by buzzoff.fr | 23 June 2025 | Blog | 0 Comments

If you’ve been relaxing by the pool lately and noticed you’ve got some uninvited guests buzzing about, you’re not alone. Wasps are especially active during the warmer months here in the Charente and surrounding areas — and they love your pool as much as you do only they’re a little less fussy about who’s already in the water !

Wasp Season Is Well and Truly Here!

Hornets, wasps, bees! Oh my!

It’s completely natural to feel nervous when you spot a wasp, hornet, bee or Asian hornet buzzing around your garden — especially in summer when they’re at their busiest. I used to feel that way before Mike started doing this, and to be honest, before I took up beekeeping myself, I was nervous too. No one wants a sting, and thanks to myths and media coverage, some species have earned an unfairly fearsome reputation.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The office responded super fast to my request for help. I reported a suspected Asian Hornets nest. Turned out they were indeed Asian Hornets. Buzz Off arrived when they said they would, exterminated the nest, explained everything beautifully - even ensured my neighbour were aware and in safety prior to the spray and removal. I was delighted with the whole process - which only took 30 or so minutes. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and will definitely recommend to others! Thanks so much, Mike.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had an Asian hornets nest in the loft, Buzz off came out a few hours after the call. We were told to stay indoors and close windows whilst the nest was removed. The nest was removed safely and taken away. The payment was easy, i made a wise transfer. A fantastic service, i would thoroughly recommend.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Absolutely brilliant service from BuzzOff. We arrived at our home in France after six weeks away to find a beehive between our window and shutters. One quick text and Kirsty and Mike were there within the hour! They safely rescued the bees and returned the next day to make sure everything was clear. Friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Couldn’t recommend them more highly – fast, reliable and kind to the bees!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a big problem with wasps around the pool, Mike spent a day spraying several roofs, and the problem is much better now.
We have no hesitation recommending Buzz off and will be using them again if we need to.
